Description: Did you know that God is excited about His family! He is revealed to us as the Heavenly Father. That means that he enjoys being a Father and He desires a large family. Through the new birth, we become a part of that family. As family members, we have the joy and responsibility to bring others into relationship with Father God. Reaching the people God places in our path doesn’t have to be scary! It ought to be a joy filled way of life. Today our message focuses on using our faith for God’s family.

Description: God is faithful. God is trustworthy. At times people may disappoint us, but God will never do that. As we get to know God in a daily relationship, we see that He is who He said that He is and He does what He said He would do. We can rely on the fact that He cannot lie and that what He said will come to pass when we believe it and receive it. Hebrews 11:6 says, “…he who comes to God must believe that He is, and that He is a rewarder of those who seek Him.” NAS Today we’ll learn how to get to know God, and how to rely on Him because He is faithful.

Description: Jesus is the Author and Finisher of our faith. That means he understands everything there is to know about faith. He’s like a master craftsman who knows how to build a great house from foundation to finish. Teaching an apprentice, a master craftsman might warn: “Watch out for poor grade cement”, or “Make certain that you use the right size nails”. He wants the apprentice to showcase an outstanding finished product. When teaching about faith, Jesus warned, “And when you stand praying, if you hold anything against anyone, forgive them…” (Mark 11:25). Forgiveness is crucial to a successful faith walk. Continuing our series, our focus today is on faith and forgiveness.

With communication breakdown comes a loss of trust and confidence. On the other hand, when there is clear and open communication, confidence and trust are developed. The same applies to our relationship with God. When there is clear communication with God, trust develops and confidence builds. We are certain of things even though we may not see them with our natural eyes. We have faith in God. According to Romans 10:17, “Faith comes by hearing, and hearing by the word of God." Today we will see how we can open our spiritual ears to hear what God in saying to us!

Description: Born in a Muslim family with Middle-Eastern origins, Christopher Alam received Jesus Christ as his Lord and Savior in 1975. He was immediately confined in a mental asylum for his faith in Christ. Christopher responded quickly to the call of God and began to preach the Gospel. He was arrested several times and imprisoned for preaching the Gospel. After being threatened with execution, Christopher finally escaped to Sweden, where he was given political asylum. It was in Sweden that he met is wife, Britta. Christopher has preached the Gospel in over 60 nations and hundreds of churches have been started as a fruit of this ministry. The preaching of the Gospel is accompanied by signs, wonders, and miracles.
