What we believe

We believe the Bible to be the inspired, the only infallible, authoritative Word of God. We believe there is only one God, eternally existent in three Persons- Father, Son and Holy Ghost. We believe in the deity of our Lord Jesus Christ, in His virgin birth, in His sinless life, in His miracles, in His atoning death through His shed blood, in His bodily resurrection, in His ascension to the right hand of the Father and in His personal return in power and glory.

We believe for the salvation of lost and sinful men, regeneration by the Holy Spirit is absolutely essential. We believe in the present ministry of the Holy Spirit, by whose indwelling the Christian is enabled to live a godly life.

We believe in the Baptism of the Holy Spirit given at Pentecost, as distinct from the new birth, with the evidence of speaking in tongues (Acts 2:4).  It is the promise of the Father, sent by Jesus after His Ascension, to empower the Church to preach the Gospel throughout the whole earth.

We believe in the Gifts of the Holy Spirit. These are manifested through a variety of spiritual gifts to build and sanctify the church, demonstrate the validity of the resurrection, and confirm the power of the Gospel.

We believe in the spiritual unity of all believers in our Lord Jesus Christ.

We believe in the resurrection of both the saved and the lost, of them that are saved unto the resurrection of life (heaven), of them that are lost unto the resurrection of damnation (hell).

We believe in the sanctification process of yielding to God’s Word and His Spirit in order to complete the development of Christ’s character in us.

We believe in the sacraments of water baptism, communion, and marriage. We believe marriage is defined in the Bible as a covenant, a sacred bond between one man and one woman, instituted by and publicly entered into, before God.

We believe that the spiritual and physical healing power of God is still available today through the power of the Holy Spirit. We believe in receiving entirely the full benefits of Christ’s provision and redemptive work. We lay hold of all things necessary for life and godliness, given by His divine power, in order to do God’s will on Earth as it is in Heaven.

We believe in the victorious redemptive work of Christ on the cross provides freedom from the power of the enemy – sin, lies, sickness and torment.
